It becomes a negative cycle that gets in the way of feeling connected, supported and comforted.

By drawing upon Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and my understanding of attachment theory, I have created an effective and kind approach to working with couples, especially those with different cultural background who are struggling with a wide range of issues.
EFT explores and helps reorganize basic emotional reactions. Its goal is to encourage couples to create a new pattern of interaction that will foster a secure connection/attachment between them.
EFT is accepted by the American Psychological Association and has been validated by over twenty years of empirical research.
